Why not try ... ?

Darien Reserva 2001
Made from 70% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha and 10% Mozuelo grapes grown only in the Rioja Alta region. It is matured in oak casks for 36 months before being bottled and held until mature and ready for drinking. Creamy smooth blackberry and vanilla flavours roll across the palate followed by a long, juicy, plump yet dry finish.

Bodegas Darien combines the best of two worlds and blends the rich traditions of Rioja with the cutting edge style of the 21st Century. The avant-garde spirit of Darien wines has been captured in the striking architecture of its Spanish winery. Beneath the rich Padrolagar vineyards disappear the cellars, creating a natural cave in which to house the wines. The winery itself emerges in a dramatic mix of straight lines and pyramid forms.

The home of the Darien wines is a faithful reflection of its modern vision and the natural bounty of the surrounding vineyards.
