Shareholder Fraud Warning
We understand that some shareholders are being targeted by fraudsters operating what is known as a boiler room scam. They obtain shareholder registers and then start calling shareholders, often suggesting that they have confidential information to divulge to shareholders and /or implying that they are appointed by the company.. They may ask you to sign a non disclosure agreement and ultimately will ask you for some money for their services and/or attempt to get hold of your shares! The Company Secretary would like to reiterate that this activity is fraudulent and the Company has not and will not authorise third parties to contact you about any matters relating to your Fullers shareholding. We strongly suggest that should you receive such a phone call, simply hang up on the caller.
Generally you should never deal with any financial advisor before checking that they work for a legitimate organisation registered with the FCA.
